My name is Neon. I came up with neoneyelids when I was 15 and have been making music since 2017. I started on my iPhone 8 using the GarageBand application, and as I slowly became used to how the application worked, I craved more. I focused on using loops at the time and really let my creativity loose, creating some beats and tracks that I deemed ‘good enough. ’ A couple of these tracks have made it to streaming services later on.

Growing up, my sister and I were given full reign when it came to music and art. I grew up listening to pop music since my mother was a huge Madonna fan. I also grew up listening to a lot of Mexican rock/punk and new wave/goth music since my father was a huge fan of those particular genres. That said, it was a colorful and vibrant space for both of us. As I grew older, living within the alternative scene of San Antonio, TX, my music library and my mind opened wide. The amalgamation of my childhood through my 20s had solidified a sound within me that I am slowly bringing to the surface.

I specialize in electronic music. I truly love to create music that is gritty and dirty but polished. I have a history of making beats as well since that is what I created at the very beginning. As I move through life, I have a goal I need to complete before I traverse the industry, and that is to complete school. I continue to make music with the knowledge I have, but I know that once I have the full knowledge, I will be unstoppable.
